一 | Colombo, Oct 19 (UNI) Miss Tourism World 2022 will host its grand finale in Sri Lanka from December 8 to 21, with 80 winners from 80 countries.
Sri Lanka secured the opportunity to host the event after competing with 15 countries, said Miss Tourism World Pageant National Director Malith Ranasinghe and State Tourism Ministry Coordinating Secretary and Chief Advisor Dr. Arosha Fernando, the Daily Mirror reported on Wednesday.
“As you would appreciate lot of hard work went to achieve this success with the fullest support from the government of Sri Lanka as well as from the industry,” Ranasinghe was quoted as saying.
“This is one of the top five pageants globally, which they have continually conducted for the past 74 years and this year, they celebrate the 75th anniversary in Sri Lanka,” he added.
“This event undoubtedly will be one of the best platforms to promote the tourism sector in Sri Lanka at this crucial hour. Contestants from 80 countries will spend two weeks in Sri Lanka from December 8 to 21, attending 80 mini pageants and the grand finale,” said Fernando.

二 | 　　昆明8月11日电（记者何春好）记者从南方电网澜湄国际能源有限责任公司了解到，近日，老挝水电首次经中老500千伏联网工程接入云南后送达粤港澳大湾区，本次送电工作预计持续到10月底，输送总量约6亿千瓦时，相关电量同步参与南方区域电力市场交易。

三 | 　　中老500千伏联网工程于4月20日正式投运，老挝北部清洁能源基地的光伏电能当日即通过该通道送入云南。此次老挝水电成功送达粤港澳大湾区，进一步拓宽了跨境清洁能源的消纳范围，推动形成“光伏+水电”互补的跨境清洁能源输送格局。　　南网澜湄国际公司市场交易部副总经理严明辉表示，2026年通过中老500千伏联网工程输送的光伏和水电参与市场化交易电量预计可达15亿千瓦时，下一步将持续发挥中老500千伏联网工程与“西电东送”大通道的协同效能，促进两国能源优势互补，提升澜湄区域能源资源配置效率，推进“一带一路”能源合作走深走实。
